MoCCA Arts Festival 2013

Ho-lee shizz!  What an amazing weekend at MoCCAfest!  Met a bunch of cool bros of the indie comics scene, caught up with a buncha friends, and capped it all off with Jurassic Park in IMAX 3D.

The true highlight of the weekend was getting my mug sketched by my goddamned heroes:

Colored in a doodle from my sketchbook.  I like the character design of both.  Should draw more o' these guys.

Been sick this entire past week something fierce; fought off a fever and severe abdominal cramps in what amounted to an appendicitis scare, which turned out to be (maybe) kidney stones.  Then came home from the ER and suffered the worst allergic breakout of hives I've ever had.

Better now; the strength and devotion of my family is a godsend.  With renewed vigor, I'll try and gear up on the art for the new month.

Changry Beavers

The cast of Community in the style of 90’s era Nicktoons.  Was fun to draw across the various styles, but the coloring and finalization was a paint in the balls.

Disappointed a tad in the broadening/overall dumber humor of season 4 and they're really jumping shark on Chang, but I have faith that the show's gonna get its legs back IF NBC DOESN'T HOLD ONTO THE IDIOT BALL.

Anyhoo, still looking for a job and to grow as a person and all that.  Meep.

Holy crap, what a show.  HIGHLY recommended.  Anyhoo, I whipped up these quick Community-themed TF2 sprays for your Teamy Fortressy goodness.
